Job Requirements

  • previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred but not required
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to read write and follow instructions effectively
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • capability to perform physical tasks including standing bending lifting and walking throughout the workday
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards ensuring consistency in every dish served
  • set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the shift ensuring all items are readily available for efficient cooking
  • ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed including proper handling storage and disposal of food
  • assist in inventory management including rotating stock and notifying management of any low inventory items
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring all areas are sanitary and ready for use at all times
  • work closely with other kitchen staff and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food service
