Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand bend lift and walk throughout the workday
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required as comprehensive training is offered
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read write and follow instructions effectively
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well in a team
- Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards ensuring consistency in every dish served
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the shift ensuring all items are readily available for efficient cooking
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed including proper handling storage and disposal of food
- Assist in inventory management including rotating stock and notifying management of any low inventory items
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring all areas are sanitary and ready for use at all times
- Work closely with other kitchen staff and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food service
