Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus
  • ability to learn recipes and cooking techniques quickly

  • open availability for shifts

Job Duties

  • Learn all noodle recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung's procedures
  • check the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
  • cook the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung's recipes
  • plate the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung's plating guidelines
  • prepare and cut garnishes for noodle line items
  • label all items in accordance with health department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
  • attend monthly staff meetings and noodle meetings
  • keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
  • organize items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
  • lift and move boxes, bags, chairs, and tables up to 50 pounds
  • assist with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
  • maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including but not limited to recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
