Job Requirements

  • Ability to understand recipes and food abbreviations
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • ability to follow procedures, take directions, and work in a team environment
  • basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and weekdays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
  • ability to understand recipes and food abbreviations

  • good basic math skills for measurements and proportions
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • ability to follow directions and adhere to food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well as food production
  • prepare food and beverage products following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
  • set up and operate kitchen equipment
  • keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked
  • maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
  • work as part of a team to ensure timely service delivery
  • assist in inventory management and food storage
