Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2+ years of experience in food service or hospitality management
- Must have Serve Safe Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Basic computer skills including Internet navigation, Email, and word processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform essential job duties with or without accommodation
- Authorization to work legally without sponsorship
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Ability to work the designated schedule
- Ability to work nights, weekends, or overtime as needed
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for the majority of the working day
- Capability to work on digital devices for half the day
- Ability to travel between Madison locations
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2+ years of experience working in food service, hospitality management, or related field
- Must hold Serve Safe Certification at time of hire or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Basic computer skills including Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship
Job Duties
- Provide the highest quality of service at all times
- Follow Exact Sciences standards for food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation
- Ensure preparation station and kitchen is set up and stocked
- Assist team members with stocking of stations and setting them up correctly
- Prepare ingredients, cook, and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes
- Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep cost within forecasted range
- Maintain a clean workstation by cleaning prep areas, kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients and meeting prep times
- Cook menu items with support of the kitchen staff
- Comply with sanitation and safety standards within Food Services
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
