Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role is required
  • Strong interest in culinary arts and willingness to grow in the food service industry
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Must be proficient in English
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Open availability required for day shifts, including full availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and café standards
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before and during service
  • Ensure food is prepared efficiently, correctly, and in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper dishwashing, surface sanitization, and trash removal
  • Assist with inventory management, stocking, and proper food storage
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Support the kitchen team in daily tasks and café operations
  • Participate in any training sessions or skill-building workshops as required
