Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year line cook experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant
  • experience with sushi preferred
  • ability to stand and move well-paced for up to 5 hours
  • ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • punctuality

Job Duties

  • Follow all company safety guidelines including personal standards, food quality standards, cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene
  • wash hands before and throughout the shift and always between prepping items
  • ensure all food meets safety, quality, and presentation standards
  • cook all products timely and to proper temperature
  • maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
  • exercise care with utensils, dishes, and equipment to minimize breakage
  • set up and break down station daily and maintain prep levels
  • assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods
  • read all notices for BOH team members and attend all team member meetings
  • remain open to constructive feedback and coaching
  • be willing to cross-train in multiple restaurant positions
  • perform other related duties as needed
