Job Requirements

  • minimum 1-2 years of cooking experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
  • excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • ability to work in small space, fast paced environment, and on a moving train
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • must be available for day or evening, holidays and weekend shifts
  • serve safe certification or ability to obtain certification
  • speak and read English minimum
  • applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • must be able to provide documentation to legally work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook meals for guests on various train experiences including legacy, lunch, and dinner trains
  • assist in seasonal events and private functions catering
  • maintain high standards of food quality, sanitation, and safety
  • work efficiently in a fast-paced, small space environment on a moving train
  • follow recipes, portion controls, and plating instructions accurately
  • collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • adhere to all health and safety regulations
