Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of professional line cook experience
  • knowledge of food safety
  • strong knife skills
  • understanding of cooking temperatures
  • current ServSafe certification preferred
  • ability to work morning and evening shifts including weekends and holidays
  • open availability

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and/or guest specifications to ensure consistency
  • visually inspect and select food items suitable for cooking and menu preparation
  • check and control proper storage of food items, monitor age and quality for rotation
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of refrigeration equipment, storage, and work areas complying with health regulations
  • prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items needed for kitchen production
  • apply math skills to accurately follow recipes
  • support high-volume kitchen operations efficiently
