Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum five years of kitchen experience
  • good communication skills
  • cooperative and positive attitude
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
  • flexible availability including holidays and weekends
  • valid food handler’s permit and required certifications
  • ability to work under pressure
  • attention to detail

Job Duties

  • prepare dishes according to menu and adhere to production standards
  • assist in supervision of Level 1 cooks
  • ensure high-quality preparation and presentation of specials, soups, stews, and chilies
  • assist servers with restocking and service during peak hours
  • maintain cleanliness and safety of work and service areas
  • communicate effectively with kitchen personnel and supervisors
  • follow proper operation of kitchen equipment and tools
