Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of cooking experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industrys best practices
  • Culinary school diploma a plus
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in small space, fast paced environment, and on a moving train
  • Ability to stand for long period of time
  • Must be available for day or evening, holidays and weekend shifts
  • Serve Safe or ability to obtain certification
  • Speak and read English - minimum
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook fine dining meals for train guests during various scheduled journeys and special events
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
  • Work efficiently in a small, fast-paced, and moving kitchen environment
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure swift and accurate meal delivery
  • Adhere to food safety standards and company best practices
  • Receive and act on coaching and feedback to improve performance
  • Contribute positively to team morale and company culture
