Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of cooking experience including line cook or prep cook roles
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Capacity to work in a small, fast-paced, and moving train environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Availability for day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legal documentation to work in the United States
  • Minimum English language proficiency required
  • Willingness to obtain Serve Safe certification if not already held

Job Qualifications

  • Proven cooking experience including line cook or restaurant cook roles
  • Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work accurately and swiftly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Passion for fine dining and exceptional guest service
  • Culinary school diploma is a plus
  • Serve Safe certification or ability to obtain one
  • Basic English speaking and reading skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals for guests on legacy, lunch, and dinner train experiences
  • Support seasonal events and private functions with food preparation
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, moving train environment
  • Collaborate with culinary team to ensure smooth and timely meal service
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards to deliver consistent quality
  • Assist in inventory management and kitchen organization
