Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays with variable overtime
  • Ability to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust
  • Must have related kitchen tools
  • Food Handlers Certification
  • High school diploma and/or GED preferred
  • One year restaurant experience preferred
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items as directed by the recipes provided by the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef
  • Ensure quality and presentation of food products meet company standards
  • Prepare, finish and garnish all menu items
  • Practice proper food and knife handling
  • Use and apply proper kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills
  • Maintain a clean workstation during service time
  • Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables
  • Ensure kitchen and Health Department sanitation requirements are always maintained
  • Perform other duties as assigned
