Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Valid food handlers permit
- Ability to work under time constraints
- Ability to meet company core values
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Strong communication skills
- Pass pre-employment testing
- Ability to work peak business hours
- Ability to obtain Class II Gaming License
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to tolerate smoke-filled environment
- Must have positive attitude and work well in a team
Job Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Food handlers permit
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Ability to meet or exceed company core values
- Ability to work under time constraints and produce food to established standards
- Knowledge of occupational safety issues
- Ability to work productively and unsupervised
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and food preparation sheets

- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- Ability to work peak business hours
- Ability to obtain a Class II Gaming License
- 2 years experience as a line cook or cook in high-volume buffet style food service preferred

- Serve Safe Certified preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare food items as required for production including soups, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, breakfast items and desserts according to established recipe standards
- Prepare food items in a sanitary and timely manner
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstation areas including tables, counters, grills, and refrigeration equipment
- Employ proper cooking methods, cook to specifications and handle, store and rotate food properly
- Monitor food temperatures according to health and safety standards
- Make recommendations to improve menu offerings, service and procedures
- Assist prep cooks and prepare food for banquet functions as directed
- Assist the Sous Chefs in training new kitchen staff as directed
- Ensure food quality and proper food portioning at all times
- Ensure work areas comply with OSHA and HACCP health and safety regulations
- Immediately report hazardous conditions
- Assist in inventory management and notify low or overstocked products
- Perform other tasks as assigned
