Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work mornings, days, weekends, and evenings
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate schedule constraints before employment
  • Ability to work 15 to 40 hours per week depending on part-time or full-time status
  • Willingness to adhere to all food safety and health code standards
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong personal organization skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items according to Chook standards
  • Manage station workflow, cleanliness, and timely preparation
  • Oversee cooking and preparation processes from start to finish
  • Train and work across multiple stations including Hot Apps, Salads, and Rotisserie
  • Maintain a clean workstation and adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Perform pre-shift, side work, and closing duties with attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with team and ask for assistance when needed
