Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
- able to follow Ruby Slipper standards and recipes consistently
- complies with portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures
- maintains a clean and sanitary work area
- must be able to communicate clearly with team members
- able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50lbs
- able to work standing for long periods up to 10 hours
Job Qualifications

- able to follow recipes and maintain product quality
- strong communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products
- prepare and portion food prior to cooking
- perform final plate preparation including plating and garnishing
- maintain clean and sanitary work area
- follow Ruby Slipper recipes and quality standards
- communicate clearly with kitchen and front of house staff
- adhere to kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
