Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years of culinary experience as a line cook
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work early morning shifts starting at 5:30 AM
  • open availability including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to follow recipes and adhere to quality control measures
  • effective communication skills
  • willingness to operate within a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of line cook experience
  • solid knowledge of cooking temperatures
  • proficient knife skills
  • prior breakfast line cook experience preferred
  • experience in hotel culinary operations a plus
  • ability to work full-time with open availability including weekends and holidays
  • strong willingness to learn and grow
  • customer-focused attitude
  • dependable and adaptable

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and established standards
  • prepare and maintain quality control for hot food items including meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks and seasonings
  • maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
  • stock and maintain par levels for designated food station(s)
  • visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
