Job Requirements

  • Open availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work typical shift from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM
  • Physical capability to perform cooking duties and stand for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to adhere to food handling and safety standards
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of line cook experience
  • Solid knowledge of cooking temperatures and knife skills
  • Prior breakfast line cook experience preferred
  • Experience in a hotel kitchen environment is a plus
  • Able to demonstrate strong willingness to learn and grow
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and established standards
  • Prepare and maintain quality control for hot food items including meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks and seasonings
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
  • Stock and maintain par levels for designated food station(s)
  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
