Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in high-volume line cook roles
  • Experience in full-service hotel cooking preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in high-volume line cooking
  • Experience in full-service hotel cooking preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare, maintain, and monitor quality control for hot food items including meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks and seasonings
  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Prepare guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and always comply with food sanitation standards
  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
