Job Requirements

  • 2+ years in a line cook position in a similar environment
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
  • English fluency
  • Additional languages preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a line cook in a similar environment
  • Strong passion for food and culinary techniques
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
  • Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment and cooking methods
  • Proficient in English
  • Additional languages preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
  • Responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations including preparation, cooking, and portioning of food
  • Maintain and properly use all kitchen equipment including fryers, blenders, food processors, mixers, and rotisserie
  • Ensure prep duties are excellently prepped, seasoned, and cooked to standards by the designated time
  • Follow standard operating procedures of all recipes, techniques, and build sheets as taught
  • Responsible for correct product storage, including labeling and dating
  • Maintain properly sharpened knives and tools with proficiency in knife skills
  • Maintain a clear dish station including chemicals, janitorial supplies, and health department standards
  • Support the team during call-outs, catering, and other needs
  • Enforce Department of Health standards to keep kitchen spaces tidy and hold team accountable
