Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience as a line cook
  • Experience in high volume, scratch, or upscale kitchen
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Good organizational and time management skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a line cook role
  • Experience in high volume, scratch, or upscale kitchen environments
  • Previous restaurant experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to carry and lift heavy objects
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • Manage your station on the line with professionalism, cleanliness, and excellence in quality
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, and accuracy with controlled speed/tempo
  • Clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
  • Work well under pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines for client food orders
  • Operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job functions
  • Ability to follow and execute recipes accurately
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team with a great attitude and support
