- ServeSafe or Food Handler's certification or must be willing to attain

Job Duties
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- maintain freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality keeping track of old and new items storing items at the proper temperature and rotating stock
- ensure all food items are accurately and consistently prepared according to recipes up to restaurant quality standards and served in a timely manner
- respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
- communicate effectively with chefs other cooks and front-of-house team to maintain a positive workplace
