Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or cooking
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work on feet for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to cross-train in other food and beverage outlets

Job Duties

  • Prepares food items ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
  • Provides excellent internal and external guest service while cooking all food orders in a quick and timely manner
  • Prepares specialty food items according to standard recipes
  • Prepares various cold menu items and garnishes accordingly
  • Responsible for the efficient and economical utilization of all products and by-products to facilitate a lower food cost
  • Assists the Chef Sous Chef and F&B Manager with specials of the day in assigned outlets
  • Inspects the following day’s menus and writes out food requisitions for necessary food portions
