Job Requirements
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety
- Good physical stamina and ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to cross-train in other food and beverage outlets
Job Duties
- Prepares food items ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
- Provides excellent internal and external guest service while cooking all food orders in a quick and timely manner
- Prepares specialty food items according to standard recipes
- Prepares various cold menu items and garnishes accordingly
- Responsible for the efficient and economical utilization of all products and by-products to facilitate a lower food cost
- Assists the Chef Sous Chef and F&B Manager with specials of the day in assigned outlets
- Inspects the following day’s menus and writes out food requisitions for necessary food portions
