Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • the ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for extended periods
  • the ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
  • the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • experience working with hot kitchen elements and cleaning materials
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • exceptional communication skills
  • must be a team player and have a positive attitude
  • excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays when required

Job Duties

  • Complete tasks assigned in a timely efficient manner
  • communicate all kitchen related needs to chef or manager
  • cook and plate all food according to recipe specifications
  • weigh and measure ingredients accurately
  • restock station when necessary
  • assist at another station when necessary
  • manage the quality of food items and store food products correctly (FIFO)
  • assist with cleaning projects
  • assist in control of inventory and supplies
  • perform all other duties assigned
