Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- some experience in food preparation or culinary training
- knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- ability to stand and move for at least 75 percent of the time
- open availability to work various shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- must meet company standards for quality and efficiency
- ability to work with little supervision
- strong organizational skills
- must be a team player
- good communication skills

Job Duties
- prepare food for restaurant, employee meals, banquets, room service, and special functions to meet hotel quality and portion standards
- handle and prepare meats, fish, and poultry including trimming, marinating, labeling, and storage
- assist with banquet food preparation as directed
- maintain accurate inventory of meat and fish products and assist with ordering stock
- rotate food in refrigerators to minimize waste
- ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
- monitor and report food waste and equipment issues
- conduct safety training for new kitchen employees
- follow all company policies and safety procedures
