Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience working as a line cook or in a culinary environment preferred
- ability to understand and follow recipes accurately
- ability to work flexible hours including overnight shifts
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- ability to handle and store food deliveries properly
Job Qualifications

- experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
- knowledge of cooking procedures, techniques, and kitchen equipment
- ability to follow recipes and maintain portion control
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work overnight shifts and flexible hours
- understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Job Duties
- provide outstanding customer service to all residents, family members, responsible persons, and visitors of residents in the community
- communicate with immediate supervisor on par levels of food items
- review daily recipes for required ingredients and ensure sufficient stock of all ingredients
- accurately follow recipes provided, including cooking times and ingredient preparation
- ensure that refrigerators, freezers, working areas and kitchen are kept clean
- ensure that equipment is functioning, sanitized and that any maintenance is reported to supervisor
- ensure strict control of waste and portion and help to control food quality and cost using standard recipe methods, pictures
- design specials for the day when required
- ensure compliance with all local laws, and health and sanitation regulations
- must be able to perform all line, prep and sanitation duties
