Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to learn and take direction

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
  • ability to follow instructions accurately
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic culinary skills such as chopping, butchering and sauce preparation

Job Duties

  • set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • cook items on menu in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • answer, report and follow executive or sous chef instructions
  • clean up station and take care of leftover food with proper labels
  • stock inventory properly following guidelines
  • ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
