Job Requirements

  • Valid California Food Handlers Card
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a similar role
  • Ability to multitask and handle a workload
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to work full time: morning shift of 8am-4:30pm or an afternoon/evening shift of 2pm-11pm, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of organization and cleanliness
  • Ability to multitask and handle a workload
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to work full time: morning shift of 8am-4:30pm or an afternoon/evening shift of 2pm-11pm, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing and chopping vegetables, meat and fish
  • Cook and present dishes according to chef's specifications, including following recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils and maintaining inventory levels as needed
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work full time: morning shift of 8am-4:30pm or an afternoon/evening shift of 2pm-11pm, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
