Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a line cook required
- minimum of 1-year previous experience in a similar role preferred
- strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations required
- ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, prioritize and organize
- ability to comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Job Duties
- Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked
- responsible for preparing and cooking all food items by recipe and to specification
- adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- clean prep areas and take care of leftovers
- stock inventory and supplies appropriately
- answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
- prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces
- ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
