Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler's card upon starting
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient
- Availability to work flexible 8-hour shifts including weekends and holidays preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a valid Food Handler's card upon starting
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
- Demonstrated compassion and patience in care settings
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for dinnerware, glassware, cooking utensils using machine and manual cleaning methods
- Ensure work areas are kept as a clean, safe, and sanitary workspace
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and safety standards for community operation
- Incorporate Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions
- Prepare and assist with food preparation as needed
- Support team members and residents with a compassionate attitude
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
