Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • experience as line cook in a fine-dining restaurant
  • must be able to read, write, measure, and follow instructions in English
  • up to date SERV Safe Food Handler’s Sanitation Certificate preferred
  • two years or more of food service preparation experience required
  • excellent communication skills preferred
  • must possess the ability to deal tactfully with others

Job Duties

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen station
  • preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
  • plating prepared foods based on the chef’s guidance
  • working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
  • ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
  • can execute salad bar and dessert stations, soups, sandwiches, sides—with minimum supervision
  • able to support meal plan and carry-out fulfillment
