Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of food service experience in a relevant setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Ability to work weekends and full-time hours
  • Successful completion of fingerprint clearance, background check, physical exam, TB test, and drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • Two or more years of food service experience in a restaurant, hospital or senior living retirement community
  • Understanding of overall food service production
  • Knowledge of state and federal food safety regulations
  • Experience in quality food production
  • Ability to provide excellent dining service
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in a timely fashion
  • Follow recipes accurately
  • Prepare food throughout the day as needed
  • Maintain proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing food
  • Ensure quality food production
  • Support multiple dining venues
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
