Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Food Handler's Permit
- Three to four years of related and advanced food service and cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to work flexible hours including some holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Dependable and detail oriented
- Able to work with limited supervision
Job Qualifications

- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles
- Ability to read and follow recipes independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Intermediate to advanced knife skills
- Experience operating kitchen equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion and patience for senior adults
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook to order foods for various meal periods
- Operate grill station and prepare a la carte orders
- Follow recipes and product directions for food preparation and cooking
- Maintain high sanitation standards and comply with safety regulations
- Receive inventory, store supplies properly, and manage food portioning
- Plate food with attention to appearance and garnish
- Participate in safety training and adhere to risk management policies
