Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepping ingredients by washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning meats and vegetables
- setting up cooking stations ensuring all tools and ingredients are ready
- organizing work areas to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety protocols
- cooking dishes using various methods such as grilling, sautéing, frying, boiling, and baking
- plating food with attention to visual appeal and restaurant standards
- managing timing to ensure food is cooked properly and served promptly
- reading and interpreting order tickets accurately
- coordinating timing with other cooks to complete multiple orders simultaneously
- communicating effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at the station during service
- managing inventory and helping order supplies
- minimizing food waste through portion control
- accommodating dietary restrictions and special requests with accuracy
- adapting to last-minute changes and maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment
