Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years experience working as a prep or line cook in hotel, restaurant, country club or other similar industry
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and accommodate special dietary orders
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts including schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm with varying days off

  • At least 3 years experience working as a prep or line cook in hotel, restaurant, country club or other similar industry

Job Duties

  • Prepares all food and menu items according to Executive Chef guidance, standardized recipes and special dietary orders, including soups, appetizers, sides, and main dishes
  • Ensures consistent excellence in quality, temperature and presentation of all food
  • Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition
  • Complies with standards for personal hygiene and dress code
  • Knowledge of proper operation and maintenance of kitchen tools and equipment
  • Works collaboratively and cooperatively with front-of-house to provide quality services to our residents
