Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Two years of relevant cooking experience
- Availability for some weekends
- Ability to pass drug screen
- Ability to pass TB skin test
- Ability to pass background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of two years cooking experience in restaurant, senior living or equivalent
- Ability to use POS systems for order management
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work weekends as needed
Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization
- Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards
- Produce and serve menu programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy and efficiency
- Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production
- Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary
- Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service quality and make improvements
- Represent the community warmly to create a positive marketing environment
- Support a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive revenue and occupancy
