Job Requirements

  • minimum one year related experience required
  • previous food service experience in healthcare setting preferred
  • ability to work cooperatively with others
  • willingness to perform assigned duties diligently

  • basic knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ability to follow instructions
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties

Job Duties

  • assist with meal and food preparation
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations and reporting
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
  • orderly storage of food and supplies
  • complete daily temperature checks for refrigerators and freezers
  • utilize approved cleaning agents properly
  • remove trash and refuse from designated areas
  • safely operate kitchen equipment including meat slicers
  • inventory food service items and supplies
  • conduct work activities safely and orderly
  • collaborate effectively with food service team
  • report any changes in personal health status
  • take responsibility for professional growth
  • perform other duties as assigned
