Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a restaurant kitchen preferred
  • Culinary certification preferred
  • Food Handler’s Card required
  • CPR/AED certification preferred
  • Ability to engage with members and staff empathetically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and support organizational goals

Job Duties

  • Adhere to and enforce government health regulations and ensure safe, sanitary food-handling practices are observed
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper organization
  • Set up the cooking line with the necessary equipment and ingredients for the day's menu
  • Read work orders, instructions, and recipes to prepare food items accurately
  • Cook, season, and plate food items according to recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Test foods to ensure proper cooking, seasoning, and temperature
  • Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
