Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Current food handler's permit
  • State sanitation certificate
  • 3-4 years of related and advanced food service and cooking experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and recipes
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment and perform food preparation tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
  • Must be dependable and able to work with limited supervision

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current food handler's permit
  • Training in Servsafe beneficial
  • State sanitation certificate
  • 3-4 years of related advanced food service and cooking experience preferred
  • Experience with kitchen equipment operation
  • Intermediate to advanced knife skills
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and preparation principles
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to follow recipes and safety instructions accurately
  • Basic computer skills
  • Dependable, detail oriented, and organized

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook to order foods for various meal periods
  • Operate grill station and prepare food in compliance with federal, state, and corporate standards
  • Follow standardized recipes for seasoning, cooking, and serving food
  • Use kitchen equipment to measure, mix, peel, cut, shred, and trim food items
  • Taste and inspect food products to ensure quality
  • Receive inventory, handle food supplies, and prepare meals for special diets
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and kitchen equipment following safety protocols
