Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous line cook experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
  • Ability to perform basic cooking techniques
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Physical stamina for standing long periods
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to Andaz Napa recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations
  • Monitor food quality and ensure proper portion control
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to execute daily menus
  • Follow all health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff
