Job Requirements
- Basic cooking techniques: sautéing, grilling, toasting, frying, and assembling menu items
- Recipe execution: following standardized recipes, portion sizes, and plating guidelines
- Time management: coordinating multiple orders and maintaining flow on a single-person line
- Food safety and sanitation: proper handwashing, temperature control, labeling, and storage procedures
- Knife handling: safe and efficient cutting, dicing, and slicing
- Cleaning and organization: maintaining a tidy station and assisting with end-of-shift cleaning duties

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items for breakfast, lunch, and après service, following established recipes and standards
- Run the line independently during slower periods and work efficiently during busier rushes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout service
- Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning as part of a shared team responsibility
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Communicate clearly and work cooperatively with front-of-house and kitchen team members
- Take initiative to stay productive during slower times-cleaning, restocking, or light prep work
