Job Requirements

  • Must have a current Utah Food Handler Card
  • ability to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
  • ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to perform repetitive motions
  • must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in an environment exposed to hot kitchen elements and cleaning materials

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Duties

  • Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
  • accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
  • maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department standards
  • possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
  • communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
  • required to check cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets
  • properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management
  • reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
  • portrays a positive and professional attitude
  • thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
  • wants to learn and helps team members do the same
  • loves cooking and being part of a like-minded team
  • maintains professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook
