Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Utah Food Handler Card
  • Experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to accurately follow recipes and food preparation procedures
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members
  • Current Utah Food Handler Card
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions

Job Duties

  • Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
  • Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
  • Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
  • Required to check cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets
  • Properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management
  • Reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
  • Portrays a positive and professional attitude
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
  • Wants to learn and helps team members do the same
  • Loves cooking and being part of a like-minded team
  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook
