Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club is a new and exciting dining, drinking, and entertainment venue located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Positioned conveniently at Fountain Plaza near The Gateway and directly across from the Delta Center, this establishment is designed to offer an innovative and dynamic social experience for its guests. Job Requirements

  • Must have a current Utah Food Handler Card
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to perform repetitive motions as required by job duties
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Capacity to work in hot kitchen environments and around cleaning chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Understanding of allergy and dietary restriction accommodations

Job Duties

  • Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
  • Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department standards
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
  • Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
  • Checks cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets as required
  • Properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management
  • Reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
  • Portrays a positive and professional attitude
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
  • Wants to learn and helps team members do the same
  • Loves cooking and being part of a like-minded team
  • Maintains professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook
