Job Requirements

  • None
  • Proven working knowledge of kitchen design and the operation of grills, roast-and-hold ovens, conventional and convection ovens, fryers, etc.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required
  • Ability to work varied shifts
  • Compliance with Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring in accordance with the TERO
  • Ability to adhere to strict food handling and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Recognized equivalent of a high school diploma (RED) or Foreign high school diploma (FHD)
  • One year quantity, buffet or quick service cooking experience or comparable/current cross-over experience in the venue

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the quality, quantity, consistency, and timeliness of all food production in the kitchen
  • Ensure the presentation, portioning, food compatibility, garnishes, and substitution procedures are followed consistently
  • Collaborate with sous chef to ensure proper training of prep and line cooks
  • Follow and adhere to all proper food handling procedures for food storage, rotation, spoilage, sanitation and prevention of cross-contamination
  • Responsible for following recipes, times, and temperatures in order to produce high-quality and consistent products
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
