Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged preferred
- one to two years experience as a cook's apprentice in a large, full service hotel or restaurant preferred
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills required
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction and multiplication
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
- physical ability to lift up to 25 lb frequently and occasionally up to 50 lb
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to work in a moderate to loud noise environment with potential exposure to smoke
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- interact effectively with the public and team members
- perform excellent customer service at all times
- prepare, season, finish, and garnish all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes
- collaborate with lead line cooks, dishwashers, supervisors, chefs, servers, and utility staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- maintain compliance with health and sanitation standards and applicable laws
- follow all recipes and control procedures
- assist in all areas of food production as needed
