Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in short order food preparation and/or volume cooking
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Adherence to ServSafe food handling guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in short order food preparation and/or volume cooking
  • Preferred qualifications include culinary school training
  • Preferred qualifications include ServSafe certification from the State of Minnesota
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is a condition of employment for all Dining Services positions

Job Duties

  • Provide assistance in the food preparation of meals in back-of-house or front-of-house operations
  • Interact with customers and prepare customized, made-to-order menu items in a high-volume environment
  • Prep food throughout shift and assist all culinary staff in completing prep sheet
  • Set up/close down open line workstation for service
  • Follow ServSafe food handling guidelines and maintain a clean work station
