Job Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a kitchen, cafeteria, or food service environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety, handling, and sanitation practices
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs
- Must obtain food handler's permit upon hire within 30 days
- Must be flexible working weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Receive pre-cooked or pre-prepped food items from the Banquet Kitchen and prepare them for service in the Employee Cafe according to established procedures
- Set up and maintain hot and cold food stations and buffet lines for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner shifts
- Ensure all food items are properly reheated, portioned, garnished, and displayed with attention to quality and presentation
- Monitor food levels during service and restock as necessary to ensure consistent availability
- Label, date, and store leftover food items in accordance with food safety and storage guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including service areas, equipment, and utensils
- Comply with all food handling, sanitation, and safety standards as outlined by the company and health department
- Provide friendly, efficient service to all employees and respond to questions or needs with a positive attitude
- Communicate supply or food quantity needs to the Banquet Kitchen or supervisor in a timely manner
