Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a line cook or similar kitchen role preferred
  • knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • ability to follow standard recipes and procedures
  • strong time management and organizational skills
  • capability to work effectively in a team environment
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately

Job Duties

  • Complete and pass required training modules
  • know the weekly work schedule and arrive on time
  • communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef about specials and events
  • set up station according to procedures and carry out food preparation
  • re-stock and maintain food product levels
  • produce food items following standard recipes and portion control
  • prepare food for guests with allergies or intolerances
  • maintain clean and organized workstation
  • perform side and closing duties as assigned
  • assist with sanitary food storage and cleaning
  • follow reporting procedures for re-cooks, spills, and incidents
  • demonstrate teamwork through open communication
  • cross-train and assist in other kitchen roles
  • follow policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • attend team meetings and communicate guest feedback
  • assist with training and supervision as experienced
  • perform other related duties as assigned
