Job Requirements
- Experience working as a line cook or similar kitchen role
- Ability to work flexible day or evening shifts
- Capability to work within a team environment and lead others
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for culinary arts
- Ability to maintain high standards in food preparation and safety
Job Qualifications
- Excellent emotional self awareness under pressure while maintaining a respectful, warm presence
- Curious intelligence to continue learning in the position
- Knowledge of various culinary procedures and methods such as grilling, baking, boiling
- Good sense of taste and smell
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
Job Duties
- Follow and fulfill the duties given by the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, or senior line cooks
- Keep stations clean and well stocked with the ingredients required to cook the dish that they are asked to prepare
- Enjoy providing great hospitality
- Prepare dishes according to the direction of senior kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Collaborate effectively with team members
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
