Job Requirements

  • Experience working as a line cook or similar kitchen role
  • Ability to work flexible day or evening shifts
  • Capability to work within a team environment and lead others
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for culinary arts
  • Ability to maintain high standards in food preparation and safety

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent emotional self awareness under pressure while maintaining a respectful, warm presence
  • Curious intelligence to continue learning in the position
  • Knowledge of various culinary procedures and methods such as grilling, baking, boiling
  • Good sense of taste and smell
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus

Job Duties

  • Follow and fulfill the duties given by the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, or senior line cooks
  • Keep stations clean and well stocked with the ingredients required to cook the dish that they are asked to prepare
  • Enjoy providing great hospitality
  • Prepare dishes according to the direction of senior kitchen staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Collaborate effectively with team members
  • Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
